Suction pool cleaners operate with the suction created by your pool filter pump. Plug the hose into your skimmer or dedicated suction cleaner line. Debris is sucked up through the hose and deposits itself in the pump basket. For larger debris loads, an in-line strainer device can be used. Suction cleaners are the most affordable type of pool cleaner, and can be used on nearly any pool. 1hp or larger pool filter pump is recommended for full power of suction type pool cleaners.
