Our in-ground Hayward Sand Filters can be used on in ground pools of all size and type, inground spas (residential or commercial) or for your water features such as Koi ponds, waterfalls or natural pool gardens.

• Top Mounted Valve uses a flanged clamp design allowing for 360 degree rotation to simplify connecting your pipes in and out of your hayward sand filter.
• Integrated top diffuser ensures even flow of water over the top of the filter sandbed. Large internal plumbing "guts" allow for smooth, free-flow of your water from the pump and back to the pool.
• One piece, corrosion-proof filter tank is roto-molded polymer material for all-weather performance. tank color won't fade over time on your hayward sand filter, unlike the competition.
• Uses the famous Hayward Vari-Flo™ control valve, a 7 position multiport. The easy lever-action handle lets you quickly set to any of the 7 functions. Includes pressure guage and backwash site glass.
• Hayward Pool Filters have large sand / water drain - easy to service, winterize or change the sand.

Our Hayward Sand Filters do not include filter sand. You can buy online, or obtain locally.
Be sure to use only 45-55mm #20 Silica Sand, labeled as "Pool Filter Sand".
