Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mediocre Reel. Dont think it will last as is. I'm no dummy when it comes to projects, I've rebuilt motors, construction, etc. This took me and someone 4hrs to assemble. I have a 28' pool. You must drill all 8 holes to connect the 5 pipes (1/2" holes). The poles use a rubber expanding bolt to connect, which prob makes it have quite a bit of bend when spanned 28'. I doubt they will last longer than 2 seasons without dry rotting. I imagine after this season I will replace with stainless hardware for more rigidity. The rings to attach the rope are nothing more than a wood grade eye bolt (you must drill holes and thread them into the pole. When you reel it in the pole bends and creeks leading me to believe it won't last without some modifications. All in all I figured that for almost $300 it would have been more than what it is. I'm not dissatisfied but I'm not thrilled either. If your already going to spend the money, invest a little more and get something better.
