Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Winter Necessity The third pump I've had since 2003 just failed. As with the previous units, somehow they just seize up, draw so much power the circuit breaker trips, and the pump is toast. This is after a warm rain with the temp in the high 60's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average My second one in 8yrs just got toast as well. Same symptoms, first it starts tripping the circuit and eventually gives up, just when the weather starts to warm up. Average life I guess will be 4yrs, from a sample of 2! I am probably going to try another pump this time around.
