A drain cover for swimming pools, spas and hot tubs designed to address eight hazards associated with conventional drain systems. This new drain cover eliminates hair entanglement, child evisceration and finger entrapment as well as minimizing body entrapment. Furthermore, its design and construction provide effective counter measures against vandalism, broken drain covers, missing drain covers and structural deterioration due to environmental antagonists. Additional features unrelated to safety include a universal fastening system which adapts the cover to all circular main drains available in the United States. Also the Anti Hair Snare drain cover is stronger than manufacturers main drain covers and has a safe flow rate that is 37% greater.
Triodyne Safety Systems, LLC is the first manufacturer to achieve NSF Certification of a safe main drain cover to the expanded requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 50. The Anti-Hair Snare Plus TSS-2000 achieved NSF Certification to the requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 50 including testing to ASME/ANSI A112.19.8M .

SR-500 Stingl Switch
(Safety Vacuum Release System)

The Model SR-500 is a Safety Vacuum
Release System (SVRS) which works by
monitoring the vacuum on the suction side
of the pool or spa pump. When a blockage
occurs in the main drain or skimmer a
sudden rise in vacuum will cause the SR-500
to shut down pump operate and activate
an audible alarm. The pump will remain off
with the alarm sounding until the SVRS is manually
reset.
