56C Keyed Shaft Inground Pool Pump Motors
Important: **Not a Threaded Shaft** - Uses a "Stub Shaft" on the Keyed Shaft. The Stub Shaft is a brass shaft extender with a threaded end that is tightened onto the keyed motor shaft with small set screws.
Has a C-Flange or Round Face, with 4 bolt holes at 1, 5, 7 and 11 O'Clock. Shaft is slotted or "Keyed" to accept a stub shaft. No attached Base.
56C motors have a C-Face (aka C-Flange) a Round Face, with 4 bolt holes located at 1, 5, 7 and 11 O'Clock. Motor shaft is slotted or "Keyed" to accept a stub shaft. No attached Base.
Keyed shaft motors are used on old pool pumps with open bracket design (where you can see the shaft). Used on Anthony Bronze, American Products Bronze, Purex and Sta-Rite Bronze pumps.
