Rated 5 out of 5 by Denray from Great Pricing! My Hayward is just 1 year old and was used for only 1 month in 2016. I was shocked to get the "sb" error code on a brand new unit! After much research, I fund that this is a common problem for this series of pool heaters. Not only does the sun denegrate the keypad, the display board is just not functioning. The owners manual is very vague about these error codes and the "solutions" are very nebulous. Hayward makes no mention anywhere in their manuals that direct sunlight will damage the touch pad which I feel is deceptive practice. I am happy to have found Pool Supply where good competitive pricing is offered. My next step will be to erect a "pump/heater house" where th equipment is installed. I have read suggestions from therms that the circuit boards should be removed and stored indoors during the winter where freezing sub zero temps occur. Hooray for Pool center, sha me on Hayward!

Rated 4 out of 5 by David73 from It works! Your part solved a long standing period of figuring out why the heater stopped working. Also, it was at a reasonable price.
