Pentair Purex Seal for Backwash Valve Rotor, Tapered, 071720

Item No.11 , 071720 Seal Backwash Valve Rotor, Tapered. Used on Pentair Purex SM & SMBW 4000 DE Filters Models 4024-4060. The Tapered rotor seal is indicated by a mark on the sides of the vertical legs, indicating direction of installation. Straight rotor seals are no longer in production, and will not seal within a tapered housing. Tapered seals also will not fit into the obsolete straight walled valve housing.
